I was getting caught up on my Christianity Today reading, and I thought I would share three very good articles.

Dr. Willard’s Diagnosis: Why we really need to die before we can live.

A Divine Conspirator: Dallas Willard on a quiet quest to subvert nominal Christianity.

Theology in an Age of Terror: Augustine’s words after the ‘barbarian’ destruction of Rome have a remarkably contemporary ring.

  1. Shawna,
Thanks for reminding me of the good articles. I’m so disappointed with Christianity Today as of late. Or maybe it’s that I’m so disappointed with evangelicals today. I find myself angry rather than encouraged when I open the pages. But the Willard articles were quite good.

Hope married life is treating you well. If you want to see pictures of our kids go to http://www.postkids.blogspot.com

    Peace,
    Brian

  2. I hear you. One of the reasons I had some catching up to do was my disappointment with CT. But when I saw Willard, I had to take a peak and hope for the best.

I cannot believe how big Maddie and William are! Time goes so fast. Married life is treating me very well. I love being married. I hope you and the fam get to meet my hubby one day. If you’re ever in Chicago, you need to let us know.
