I will be happy to send you a list. Right now I'm in Washington D.C.; my husband is in the hospital. You can start with Judges 4 and 5. Those chapters are about Deborah who was a judge and prophet in ancient Israel.

I will send you more when I get home and can easily look up my resources. Thank so much for leaving the comment.

I am having a problem with my brothers. They say that there were no women teachers, prophets, or Apostiles. Is this true and if not could you e-mail me a list and where to find it in the KJB?
Thank you so much.

Shawna,
Thank you for your website and your commitment to God and his people.
In this article you said, "The Greek word that is normally translated “older women” is presbutidas, which is the feminine form of the noun normally translated as “elder” when it is describing a man."
I'm having trouble following this. The masculine form of this word is presbutides and is translated "old man" by the NIV in all three places it occurs in the New Testament (Luke 1.18, Titus 2.2, Philemon 1.9). It doesn't seem to indicate "Elder" at all.
Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Keith
