I need to chat with you!! I have a sermon to do for Mother’s Day (I’m a student and have the luxury of TIME to study and prepare.) We won’t go into why I was assigned to Mother’s Day… just thankful that I get to preach. sigh.

ANYWAY
My assigned text is the story of Hannah. I remembered you have this reference in the making… any chance it will be published soon?? I need resources that apply to men AND women, parents and singles… ANY help you can give would be appreciated!

A great theme, and long overdue. Sentimentalized Victorian-era upper-class housewifery — which tends to be touted as “traditional women’s roles” or “traditional family values” is not what these women were all about!

I like this Shawana, may I ask one question though- is the introduction the place to discuyss women and the fall, could this perhaps be a chapter in itself?

I’m so glad that you’re doing this, I think it’s much needed.

Just another small point– when I read the discription of the Proverbs 31 woman, she is not a woman whose primary concerns are homemaking in a contemporary sense. She’s definitely a businesswoman, too.
