It may be a false clarity, showing me clearly what is not so, but that's how it looks. The past arises and, like a mirror, shows me what I am. A fog would, perhaps, be welcome, like the fog that spreads itself on a mirror when steam diffuses throughout a bathroom. Still, false clarity may evolve into true clarity, honest examination and openness to revelation or evolution. My periods of depression are characterized more by clarity than fog.
